Kenny Electric Expands – Opens New Casper, WY Office

Shawn Miller (L), Kevin Short (R)Kenny Electric is growing its roots in Casper, WY and has brought on board a local management team, made up of individuals who have roots in Wyoming, and understand the people, the community, and the culture of the area.

Our new Casper office delivers the same services available to our customers in Colorado and Texas that include work on industrial electrical construction for compressor facilities, natural gas processing plants, oil refining facilities, and water and wastewater processing stations. Our services also include commercial construction, facility maintenance, 24/7 service, building automation and access control systems.

Kenny’s local team has the background and training to comply with NEC hazardous and classified location installations. Our team are industry leaders and revered among their peers.

Shawn Miller – Wyoming Branch Manager, is a 23-year veteran in Industrial Electrical Construction and Automation Integrations. Shawn is a strong leader and project manager and is skilled in procurement, operations management, and finance. He is professionally involved in WOGISA (Wyoming Oil and Gas Industry Safety Alliance) and has been a member of the State OSHA committee for seven years. Shawn holds several Certifications including as an OSHA 500/510 Outreach Instructor, PEC Premier Safeland/Safegulf Instructor, OSHA 7505 Accident Investigator, and is an OSHA 1910.1200 HazMat / Right to Know Law instructor.

Kevin Short – Wyoming Automation Manager, is a Casper native. He began his career as a power lineman and is now an expert in industrial automation working mainly with oil, gas, and mining facilities. Kevin is a design/ architectural engineer. Kevin has experience in many industry sectors but has done extensive, intricate work with oil refineries, gas compression stations, train load-out systems, and fuel plants. He’s led many large projects some of which include construction of P&H and BE shovels and draglines and overseeing integration and commissioning of a tailing recovery system in a mine absorption plant.

Kenny Electric has been in operation for over 40 years. We continue to build upon our highly skilled workforce of 350+ people, trained and licensed for industrial and commercial work across Colorado, Texas, and Wyoming.
